4th Vice President Duties

 

     

      4th VICE PRESIDENT/BEEF PROMOTION & Beef Rewards

       

      1. Plans & coordinates other ways to promote Beef to the Public. Any activity for which the HCCW seeks reimbursement from the TCW require both a preapproval form and a final submission including expenses and photos. Examples of past projects include:
        1. Fredericksburg Light the Night Parade
        2. ‘Eat More Beef’ Cook Off for youth
      2. Plans, coordinates, and proposes new projects & avenues to promote the beef industry
      3. Prepares an annual report of expenses, number of members who worked each event, an approximate number of people reached/served to be given to the President for her Annual Activity Report to TCW (Due no later than September 15).
      4. Gives a report of each event to the membership in both the Monthly Newsletter & at monthly meetings.
      5. Maintain a list of contact information from previous activities for future Beef Rewards chairs.
      6. Beef Rewards activities also fall under the HCCW Foundation prevue. These activities may include the following as desired in addition to potential new ones:

       

      1. Donations of beef gift cards (along with recipes and nutritional information about beef) to local food banks. These may include any or all of the following along with others as needed:
      2. Bandera Village of Hope
      3. Blanco Good Samaritan Center Food Pantry
      4. Fredericksburg Food Pantry
      5. Hill Country Daily Bread
      6. Kimble County Ministerial Alliance
      7. St Vincent de Paul - Kerrville
      8. Llano Food Pantry
      9. Mason County Food Bank
      10. McCulloch County Resource Center
      11. Menard County Food Pantry
      12. San Antonio Food Bank
      13. San Saba Mobile Food Pantry
      14. Kerrville VA
      15. Hill Country Youth Ranch

       

      Making the donation requires preapproval from the Texas Cattlewomen.  Additionally it requires the submission of photos of each donation made to the TCW after the event in order to be reimbursed.

       

      1. Providing a hamburger feed to the youth at the Hill Country Youth Ranch.  This involves not only a meal but education on beef for the attendees.  Like any event, in order to receive reimbursement it must have a preapproval from TCW and all appropriate paperwork along with photos submitted after the event.
