It’s Fall Y’all!
The Hill Country Cattlewomen October monthly meeting was held on Tuesday, October 18. A huge shout out to Dianne Staudt for organizing and Lady Bird Johnson Golf Club for hosting this fun meeting! 45 attended: including two guests, two new members, and Teri Stone’s super-duper IT Expert Hubby – Tracy. Welcome new members Peggy Enderlin and Katina Dunn, both from Fredericksburg.
Teri Stone and hubby Tracy walked us through our new hillcountrycattlewomen.org (Note the ORG!) website. Lots of great features and information available to the public as well as a new password protected directory. You can even join or update your membership with the simple touch of a button. Please email Teri Stone directly, or use the “contact” feature on the website if you are having trouble setting up your account or see any edits or additions, or you just wanna tell Teri and Tracy what a fantastic job they did creating this new site.
Lots going on with Suzanne and Beef Rewards – contact her if you want to be a part of the good work she is doing. Paulette is ready for this year’s Food and Wine Fest in Fredericksburg. If you have not volunteered for an event – this is the one you want to be a part of! Wine not?
And then, there was the fabulous presentation by our very own Liz Wunderlich. Wow! She made us all hungry with her tales of 30 years in the international field of meat export. She currently is the U.S. Meat Export Federation’s Caribbean Consultant and regional manager. Here she is again! https://youtu.be/1LQQaJsOJ8c Thanks Liz!
Well that about wraps it up. Great to see all of the beautiful smiles! Until we meet again in January.
Happy Trails!
