3rd Vice President Duties
- Promotes new members & maintains a complete & up-to-date membership list which includes Name, Mailing Address, Phone Number(s) & Email (this list is to be forwarded to HCCW President, Treasurer, and Newsletter Chairwoman)
- Updates membership status on website when members pay by check
- Adds a transaction to member to change status from inactive to active
- Adds new members to website when needed
- Assigns active members to committees after discussing with Board & Committee Chairs. May assign Supportive members upon their request or agreement.
- Encourages all members to contribute a minimum of 8 hours of service annually to HCCW
- Creates Paper Directory of Members (when requested)
- Updates all information in the Membership Yearbook for printing; including any changes in By-Laws, Standing Rules, etc as well as Membership Information Due to printer end of September (Yearbooks must be ready to give out to membership at October meeting)
- Keeps accurate roster of responses & payments with all dues’ payments forwarded to the Treasurer
- Orders Name Tags for members
- Sends the State Roster to Treasurer so she can send with a check for the dues to TCW (deadline is November 30 for TCW Dues)
- Prepares Texas CattleWomen Membership Form to be sent with State dues (see attached spreadsheet for format of what is to be sent with TCW dues)
- Makes available Membership Applications & HCCW information at our Annual Fund Raiser, Fredericksburg Food & Wine Fest, Women’s Ranch Seminar & any other events where appropriate to encourage membership (including guests at monthly meetings)
- Sends out in early April a dues reminder to the membership (Dues are to be paid on or before July 1)
