HCCW promotes beef in conjunction with the Texas Beef Council by increasing public awareness of the nutritional value of beef in the diet.  And that beef taste good!  HCCW members distribute recipes, promotional items and educational materials from the Texas Beef Council.  The materials include choosing beef, storing beef, preparing beef and nutrients that beef provides the body.

At Christmas time the HCCW participate in the Light the Night Parade in Fredericksburg Texas with a lighted float. The parade has a huge audience of 30,000 or more people that line the streets Fredericksburg.  Live news coverage gives HCCW additional community recognition.
